So it's not the Mason-Dixon line; what do you call it, if it's even official?

It's simply a line to clearly delineate North Georgia from South Georgia. I guess technically, I should have cut the state into thirds to have North, Middle and South Georgia. In that case, Newnan may have fallen into Middle Georgia, but it certainly would NOT have fallen into South Georgia. However, I was surprised to see that even Macon is located north of the dividing line. I would definitely call Macon "Middle Georgia."
